Why Dorper

A mild, versatile lamb for the way you cook.

Dorper lamb is known for a clean, approachable flavor and works beautifully on the grill, in the oven, or low and slow. It is just as comfortable in weeknight tacos as it is at the center of a Sunday table.

Our story · Longview, Texas

Two farm beginnings, one family ranch.

Lisa grew up on a dairy farm in Yantis, Texas. David grew up in Iowa raising corn, soybeans, pigs, and sheep. Sunny Days Ranch brings those farm roots together here in East Texas, where we are building a Dorper flock and a direct relationship with the people who enjoy our lamb.

We share harvest timing, available cuts, final packaged weight, pricing, and pickup arrangements before accepting a reservation. Have a question? Email David or Lisa.
